DescriptionThe National Weather Service in Lake Charles has Issued a Winter
Weather Advisory, Which is in effect Until 9am CST This
Morning.

A Mix of Light Rain Along with Snow and Light Sleet will Continue
to Spread Across South - Central and Southwest Louisiana this Morning
Before Ending or Turning to All Rain by Mid - Morning. Light Accumulations
are Expected As Surface Temperatures Briefly Drop to near Freezing.
Exposed Surfaces, Such As Bridges and Overpasses, will Have A
Higher Possibility of Slick Spots, and Extreme Caution Should Be
Used While Driving Across Areas this Morning.

The Precipitation will End from West to East by Mid - Morning With
Temperatures Rising Above the Freezing Mark. Any Residual Ice Or
Snow on Exposed Surfaces will Melt at this Time.

A Winter Weather Advisory Means That Periods of Snow, Sleet, Or
Freezing Rain will Cause Travel Difficulties. be Prepared For
Slippery Roads and Limited Visibilities, and Use Caution While
Driving.

An Upper Level storm System will Continue moving East Across
South-central Louisiana this Morning. this System...coupled With
Overrunning Moisture and Cold Air Aloft...will Continue to Yield A
Mixture of Rain...snow and Likely Light Sleet Through Mid-
Morning Before Changing Back to All Rain in Areas Where The
Precipitation has Not Yet Ended.
