Dear Missions Friend, PhysicianCrossroads.com takes pleasure in announcing a new unique video contest, entitled Making A Difference We are actively seeking medical missionary stories about how medical missions and medical missionaries have impacted, and changed the lives of people through their healing hands and caring souls. We want to help Medical Mission Organizations and Medical Missionaries to tell their stories to the Medical World. Contest Purpose: Inform our Physician Community how people have benefited from mission efforts by sharing videographic experience. Through video submissions in the format of a contest, we hope to encourage quality in the process, and bring excitement and enthusiasm to the exercise amongst fellow medical practitioners. It's simple; here's what to do: Create a free account at https://physiciancrossroads.com/volunteer/create_account.php - In the "Organizational Description" field, briefly describe your organization, and add the words "Missionary Video Contest." This will indicate your interest in submitting videos for the contest. Send your videos to support@physiciancrossroads.com - Our moderator will review and post them. An ID number will be assigned to each approved video. Sign up for our Forum at http://physiciancrossroads.com/forums/index.php to participate in the voting process…. It's free. Place your comments on the Medical Missions Video Contest blog (thread) and vote for your favorites by typing in the ID number with your comments. The winning Medical Mission Video will be awarded a prize of $1,000 USD. The submission cutoff date is Dec. 16, 2008. The final judgement date is Jan. 16, 2009.
