South Central St. Landry Parish in Central Louisiana
Northwestern Iberia Parish in South Central Louisiana
this includes Avery Island
Lafayette Parish in South Central Louisiana
this Includes, Scott, Lafayette, Carencro
West Central St. Martin Parish in South Central Louisiana
East Central Acadia Parish in Southwest Louisiana
this includes Church Point
Northeastern Vermilion Parish in Southwest Louisiana

* Until 1000pm CST

* At 917pm CST, National Weather Service Radar indicated A
severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado 8mi
Southeast of Avery Island, or About near Cypremort Point, Moving
Northwest at 72 MPH.

* The tornado will be Near
Delcambre and 6mi Northeast of Erath by 930pm CST
Youngsville by 935pm CST
Broussard by 940pm CST
Scott, Lafayette and 6mi Northeast of Duson by 945pm CST
Carencro by 950pm CST
Church Point and 6mi Southwest of Sunset by 955pm CST

The Safest Place to be During a tornado is in a Small Interior Room.
Get Under a Workbench or Other Piece of Sturdy Furniture, Seek
Shelter on the Lowest Floor of the Building in an Interior Hallway Or
Room Such As a Closet. Use Blankets or Pillows to Cover your Body And
Always Stay Away from Windows.

if in Mobile Homes or Vehicles, Evacuate Them and Get Inside A
Substantial Shelter. if No Shelter is Available, Lie Flat in The
Nearest Ditch or Other Low Spot and Cover your Head with your Hands.

A tornado watch Remains in effect Until 1000am CST Saturday Morning
for Southwestern Louisiana and Southeast Texas.
