West Central Lafayette Parish in South Central Louisiana
Eastern Acadia Parish in Southwest Louisiana
this Includes, Rayne, Crowley, Church Point
Eastern Vermilion Parish in Southwest Louisiana
this Includes, Kaplan, Intracoastal City, Abbeville

* Until 415am CST

* At 328am CST, National Weather Service Radar indicated A
severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado Near
Intracoastal City, moving North at 63 MPH.

* The tornado will be Near
Abbeville by 335am CST
Kaplan by 340am CST
Duson by 350am CST
Rayne and Crowley by 355am CST
8mi West of Church Point by 405am CST

The Safest Place to be During a tornado is in a Small Interior Room.
Get Under a Workbench or Other Piece of Sturdy Furniture, Seek
Shelter on the Lowest Floor of the Building in an Interior Hallway Or
Room Such As a Closet. Use Blankets or Pillows to Cover your Body And
Always Stay Away from Windows.

if in Mobile Homes or Vehicles, Evacuate Them and Get Inside A
Substantial Shelter. if No Shelter is Available, Lie Flat in The
Nearest Ditch or Other Low Spot and Cover your Head with your Hands.

A tornado watch Remains in effect Until 1000am CST Saturday Morning
for Southwestern Louisiana and Southeast Texas.
