DescriptionThe National Weather Service in Lake Charles has Expanded The

* Flash Flood watch to include a Portion of Southwest
Louisiana, Including the Following Areas, Calcasieu
Cameron and Jefferson Davis.

* Until 1pm CST this Afternoon

* Rainbands in Association with Tropical Depression Gustav Will
Remain in Place Across the watch area this Morning. From
The Beginning of this Rain Event around Midnight on Monday to
The Present, Rainfall Amounts from 3 to 6 Inches Have Been
Observed. Additional area - Averaged Amounts from 1/2 to 1 Inch
are Possible Through this Morning, Along with Localized Amounts
to around 3 Inches.

* Heavy Rainfall May Lead to Flooding of Roadways and
Buildings, in Low Lying Areas Prone to Flooding.

A Flash Flood watch Means That Conditions May Develop That Lead
to Flash Flooding. Flash Flooding is a very Dangerous Situation.

you Should Monitor Later Forecasts and be Prepared to Take Action
Should Flash Flood Warnings be Issued.

Showers and Thunderstorms...in the Form of Spiral Rainbands...will
Remain in Place Across Louisiana for Most of today. These
Rainbands are Associated with Tropical Depression Gustav...
Currently Located over the Arklatex Region. Gustav will Drift
Slowly to the North...before Accelerating Northeast Into Arkansas
this Evening. The Rains will Taper Off As a Consequence.
